The 220kV high-voltage oil-immersed transformer represents KERUN’s advanced technology for main transmission networks and power generation plants.
It integrates high mechanical strength windings, layered insulation with capacitive shielding, and advanced cooling systems (ONAF, OFWF) to ensure outstanding dielectric and thermal performance.

The transformer is built with a fully sealed tank, pressure relief system, and Buchholz relay to enhance safety and reliability.

Each steel sheet is precisely cut along the magnetic flux direction and assembled using the step-lap stacking technique, ensuring smooth flux distribution and minimizing localized losses and vibration noise. The sheets are coated with a high-quality insulation layer to reduce eddy currents and improve thermal dissipation. After assembly, the entire core undergoes a stress-relief annealing process to eliminate mechanical stress, restore magnetic performance, and significantly reduce no-load losses.
