From September 16 to 17, a delegation headed by Mr. Wu Guosheng, Director of the Standing Committee of the Quzhou Municipal People’s Congress, carried out a special citywide inspection on science and technology innovation, and heard reports on the implementation of relevant innovation policies from each county and district.
Director Wu emphasized that the inspection should serve as an important opportunity to identify key leverage points in technological innovation, accelerate breakthroughs, and foster new momentum for high-quality development, further empowering the vision of building an “Innovative Quzhou.” The delegation also included Vice Directors Liu Genhong, Tong Weixin, Pan Xiaohui, Yang Sijun, Yu Longhua, and Secretary General Lai Ruihong.

On the afternoon of September 16, the delegation visited Kerun Intelligent Control for an on-site inspection and guidance session. They toured the company’s exhibition hall, where Chairman Wang Rong provided an in-depth briefing on Kerun’s operations, technological innovation initiatives, and talent development strategies.
Director Wu encouraged Kerun to stay goal-oriented and results-driven, continue transforming successful practices into replicable innovation models, and strengthen collaboration across platforms, industries, and academic institutions. He also called for improving the quality of review and reporting mechanisms, enhancing coordination between municipal and county-level bodies, and establishing a closed-loop system of “review — implementation — feedback.”
He further emphasized the importance of scaling up exemplary cases, promoting knowledge sharing among enterprises and sci-tech platforms, and inspiring broader innovation synergies. Wu also encouraged representatives to actively participate in provincial-level initiatives and contribute to building Quzhou into a leading innovation hub at the intersection of the four neighboring provinces.
